MD CPCU Society Chapter Recieves PLATINUM Status 2018
Tony Halloran, CPCU, the 2018 President of the Maryland CPCU Society Chapter received notification from the CPCU Society Chapter Services that the Maryland Chapter achieved PLATINUM status in the National CPCU Circle of Excellence for 2018! This was the second year that Platinum was an achievable goal and the MD Chapter again reached this higher recognition. Congratulations to Tony Halloran and to all the board members, committee chairs, committee members, volunteers, sponsors, and ALL who participated to make 2018 a success!
The chapter was recognized in April, 2019 at the Leadership Summit during the Awards and Recognition Program.
What is the Circle of Excellence?
The Circle of Excellence Recognition Program recognizes all chapters for their efforts to achieve specific benchmarks in chapter performance. Chapters can earn Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze recognition by undertaking activities divided among the key initiatives of the Society's Strategic plan. It has been developed by National to support the CPCU Society's three areas of strategic emphasis: Visibility, Member Success and Stewardship.
The Strategic Initiatives of the Circle of Excellence Recognition Program are as follows:
- Make CPCU the most widely recognized, valued, and highly respected professional designation/brand in the property and casualty industry by CPCU employers, industry practioners, and other important audiences.
- All society members have access to a continually increasing number of programs and services that position them for success.
- Provide stewardship through Chapter planning and administration, member networking and recognition, and general support of education.
