2021 Maryland CPCU Society Chapter Officer Installation Ceremony

On December 15, 2020 the Maryland Chapter conducted their Officer Installation Ceremony for the 2021 Board, via Zoom.  The Officers for 2021 are Jason Clayton – President, Terry Katz – Vice President, Deb Wagener – Treasurer, Barb Lagas – Secretary, and John Thomas – Past President.  The three at-large Board members are Christopher Hill, Nancy Gilgenast, and Matt Magner. 

2020 Maryland CPCU - Morgan State University Scholarship

The Maryland Chapter of CPCU today announced the opening of the application process for their annual collegiate scholarship.  The $2,000 scholarship is open to all members of the Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) at Morgan State University. 

Chesapeake High School Career Fair

In March of this year, the Maryland Chapter particpated in the Annual Chesapeake High School Career Fair.

Anita Lewis from the chapter ran the booth and spoke to students about careers in Insurance and also about the CPCU designation.

The chapter plans to participate in the career fair next year.  If you have an interest in helping out with this event, please contact the chapter.
