Ethics in the Insurance World

During the course of this class, we attempt to define ethics as it relates to the insurance industry.  This course has been designed to reinforce the insurance professional’s ethical competence, contribute to the insurance professional’s understanding of the complexities of ethical decision-making in the insurance industry, and will provide tools to help an insurance professional identify, prevent, and constructively resolve ethical dilemmas.  This course reviews several ethical case studies relevant to the insurance professional.

Earn 3 hours Ethics CE Credit.  Limited seating:  30

Van Deusen is the President of a remodeling, construction and insurance restoration and mitigation company with sales in excess of 2 million per year.  He has experience in insurance reconstruction specialty for 5 years, including remediation for water, smoke and mold, fire and catastrophe reconstruction, claims filing and settlement.

He has received various professional accomplishments including the National Association of Home Builders, Institue of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), Claims Training Services, and a number of Insurance Affiliations.
