Good Works: Maryland Food Bank

Each year, the MD CPCU Society Chapter volunteers have served, stacked, and  sorted food for those in need in the Greater Baltimore area.  Please join us by registering today so you can participate in this rewarding good works event.   It is on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

As you know, January and February are a busy time of year when the Food Bank  receives large post-holiday donations from all the major grocery stores. The loading bay is literally full. This may sound like a good thing, and it is, but it also means that they are quickly running out of warehouse space to store the food. In short, they need volunteers to help sort this huge backlog of donations so they can get the food to the people who need it.

With this in mind, they just added morning and afternoon volunteer shifts on Saturday.   The MD CPCU Society Chapter has volunteered to serve.  Please join us by registering today!
