Come join us for another great year at the Conference Center at the Maritime Institute in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 begining with Registration and Exhibits at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m.  There will be a "happy hour" at the end for networking, meet and greet, and with a bonus of avoiding that traffic.

Bill is the VP of Education and Research and founder and director of the Virtual University of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.  He is the former Director of Education and Technical Affairs from the Insurers of Tennessee and prior to that time, he was employed by Insurance Services Office, Inc.  Mr. Wilson is a graudate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with a BS degree in Fire Protection & Safety Engineering.

He has served as a trainer and speaker for various organizations.  He has conducted hundreds of technical seminars, workshops and convention presentations.

Meyer joined KBW in 2013 from Stifel, where he worked since 2005.  Based out of the Baltimore office, Meyer is a managing director covering property and casualty insurance.  His awards include The Wall Street Journal "Best on the Street" Survey, ranking #5 in 2009 and #2 in 2012.   Prior to joing Stifel, Meyer was an analyst with Legg Mason Capital Markets and J.P. Morgan, and held various actuarial positions within Zurich North America.   Meyer graduated with a degree in actuarial science from the University of Toronto and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Phillip has 12 years' experience in Flood Insurance and a total of 19 years in Personal and Commercial Lines.  He is currently the Senior Technical Training Specialist for Harleysville Insurance Flood Department located in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, as well as the Marketing Consultant for Flood.

He teaches flood insurance to agents, producers, adjusters and lenders across the United States and is certified as an instructor in almost all of the required states.  He received his AIC designation in 2000, Flood Adjuster Certification in 2005 and his ANFI (Associates in National Flood Insurance) in 2012.

Alfred W. Redmer Jr. was appointed Maryland Insurance Commissioner by Governor Lawrence J. Hogan Jr. in January 2015.  He preivous servied as Commissioner from June 2003 until October 2005.  He recently managed Redmer Insurance Group LLC and owned Redmer Financial Group.  He served 13 years in the General Assemby representing Baltimore County and served two years as the House Minority Leader.   At the Maryland Insurance Administration, Commissioner Redmer overseas the independent agency's approximately 266 employees and an annual budget of $26 million.

As executive vice president of solutions and sales at The Institutes, Anita Z. Bourke is responsible for leading and contributing to the company’s product development process while providing a strategic focus on sales. She oversees the Knowledge Resources, Assessments, Print Products, Content Development, and Online and Custom Products departments and serves on the Senior Management Team.

Bourke maintains a visible presence. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Alabama and completed the Wharton Advanced Executive Education Program. She served as president of the CPCU Society from 1997 to 1998.

Rich joined Willis in 2004. Prior to his move to insurance brokerage, his credentials over his 26-year career in the environmental field. ich earned a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science and Geology, and a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Environmental Health and holds the ARM designation
