Before summer comes to a close and the children go back to school, MD CPCU Society Chapter Annual Picnic has also come and gone.   It was a beautiful humid day, Saturday, August 6 at Deb and Michael’s home (Deb Wagener, CPCU, MD Chapter Treasurer).   There was food galore; endless homemade crab soup and the best tasting homemade hamburger sliders!  Of course, the famous crab soup was made by Deb’s  mom. There was chicken, hot dogs, sausages, and a buffet of sides and desserts.  No one went home hungry.   We had over 40 people participate with members, family and friends coming and going from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.   We thought we were going to get a slight afternoon storm, but the weather held out with the perfect opportunity  for the children to play with water squirters  and all to take advantage of the boat ride around the bay; tubing, basking in the sun and getting a  “suntan on”, or enjoying a great book and conversation in the shade.

Thank you Deb and her husband for making this day special for the MD Chapter CPCU Members.  Your commitment to opening your beautiful home on the bay each year is so wonderful.
