Maryland I-Day a Success
Maryland I-Day celebrated 25 years of providing an educational forum for professionals in the insurance industry, hosted by three great insurance organizations: Independent Insurance Agents of Maryland, International Association of Insurance Professionals, and Maryland CPCU Society Chapter, Inc. The conference took place on Thursday, May 8 at the Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum, Maryland. There were a total of 153 participants.

DRONES PRESENTATION
On June 4, 2016 the Maryland CPCU Society Chapter and Liberty Mutual Insurance co-hosted the Cyber Security Presentation at the Sheraton in Columbia, which featured a live drones demonstration. Presenter, Ricky Hill, showed us the ways that we are all vulnerable without even realizing it. He discussed different uses for drones, which include taking photos and video for various uses and how this can impact our personal and business lives. He also discussed some of the challenges they present for the insurance industry.
