Continuing Education Committee
Coordinate educational programs throughout the CPCU year. Programs include continuing education and non-continuing education credit options, soft skills, and leadership development.

Visibility/Public Relations Committee
Ensures visibility of the Chapter, with the general public and the industry, through the use of various media publications. This includes developing articles and ads to promote our activities and accomplishments.

Good Works Committee
Provides opportunities to participate in charity service projects through assisting different charitable organizations or community endeavors. It also supports the initiatives of Greater Chesapeake Charitable Foundation (GCCF). GCCF is a foundation representing the insurance and financial services industries and Maryland CPCU Society Chapter. The Chapter holds two Board positions on the GCCF Board.

Information Technology Committee & Webmaster
Develops and maintains the Maryland CPCU Society Chapter website as the Webmaster and assists/recommends the use of new technological tools, computer software, and social media networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn in order to promote the Chapter from as a community organization as well as an educational and professional organization.

Membership Committee
Ensures the accuracy of our membership information, including members, candidates, lapsed members, and retired members as well as provide strategies to grow the chapter's membership.

Candidate Recruitment & Development/Student Liaison Committee
Develops relationships with local high schools and colleges to promote the industry and benefits of the Society.
Ensures non-CPCUs are aware of the CPCU designation through various activities (i.e. golf, baseball, charitable events, insurance roundtable, etc.), what does it mean to be a candidate, and what benefits a CPCU can bring to the organization, both employer and client relationships.

New Designee Committee
Serves as a liaison to the New Designees throughout the year to welcome the new members to the Chapter and act as resource regarding Maryland Chapter activities and opportunities, including the chance to further develop their leadership skills through involvement on committees.

Mentoring and Senior Resource Committee
Works with the Candidate Recruitment & Development/Student Liaison Committee and provides resources and mentoring opportunities. For our retired members, encourage their involvement and engagement in the Chapter and for our candidates engage and encourage our .candidates in completing their CPCU designation.

Historian Committee
Collect and maintain the history of the Chapter in an organized display so the memorabilia can be observed and passed on from one generation to the next.
