On March 10, 2017, Jacklyn McIntosh, CPCU (MD Chapter Immediate Past President), Evan Krozy, CPCU (MD Chapter active member), and Anita Lewis, CPCU (MD Chapter Student Liason/Candidate Recruitment Chair and Past President) visited Chesapeake High School’s Career Fair. They engaged with approximately 100 students, challenging them with a short quiz to get the conversation going about the insurance industry and what it had to offer. It was evident that many students had not really considered a career in insurance, but after this day, we may have changed a number of minds.. At the very least, they are now aware of all kinds of positions and opportunities in the insurance industry and the role The CPCU Society plays.
