2017 Leadership Summit
We were pleased to be selected as the host chapter for the National Leadership Summit in April 20-22, 2017. Participants at the summit were introduced to Baltimore with Berger cookies, old bay and crab mallets. We also included a recipe on how to steam crabs the Balti-mor-ian way, hon. We even had a guest appearance by a steamed crab.

HEAR YE! HEAR YE! Do Not Forget About the CE for CPCU
CE for CPCU Program
A new requirement for reporting CE for all CPCUs is in effect. All CPCUs must complete 24 hours of practice-oriented continuing education credits every 2 years. This credit can be received from:

Good Works Committee Changing Lives at the Franciscan Center
On Saturday morning, June 24, 2017 the MD CPCU Society Chapter Good Works Committee had voluteers from our chapter participate at the Franciscan Center in Baltimore City. The morning volunteers helped to sort and bag food items for distribution to those in need. The afternoon volunteers handed out food at each serving station and helped break down boxes and tables afterward. For the day’s event, food was shared with 275 families, which equates to more than 800 people. Great job!
